Fitbit announced it would start selling its TSC smartwatch in the US, bringing the company’s range to more than 80 countries and territories, as well as more than 5,000 retail locations.
Fitbit said the TSC will include both the fitness tracking device and the fitness tracker itself, but it won’t include the Fitbit Connect, a wearable that allows users to use it on their phone.
Fitbits range will include fitness trackers and activity trackers, which it says can help users manage and track their health and fitness, as they do on a smartphone.
FitBit is launching the TTS in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Italy, Switzerland and Australia, with markets expected to be rolled out over the coming months.
FitBits new US stores will be at malls and retailers like Macy’s and Best Buy, where Fitbit already sells its products.
Fitbits new UK stores will also be at Target and Marks & Spencer.
Fitbit said in a statement it plans to sell a variety of fitness trackings, including the Fitbits Smart Track and Fitbit Flex, as part of the TSS.
It is not yet clear what Fitbit will do with the FitBit Connect, but the Fitbitts new US and UK stores are expected to sell Fitbit devices in the “early months of next year”.
It’s unclear whether Fitbit plans to introduce Fitbit Touch, a fitness tracking accessory for Apple Watch that has been in testing.
Other fitness trackables from Fitbit include the Pampers P2, a device that uses the same technology as the FitBitts smartwatch, and the Fitband, which can track your heart rate and distance.
