Jordan has launched camel safety safety shoes at a cost of $15 a pair, the first time it has done so since a similar model was introduced in the United Arab Emirates.
The shoes are made by Camelot, a global footwear brand founded in 2015 that has also been working on camel safety products.
The brand has launched the $15 camel safety boots in a series of limited edition, $100 and $200 pairs.
“Jordan is known for its high-quality and innovative footwear.
Camelot is a leader in this area, and we’re excited to bring these innovative products to Jordanians,” Jordan’s brand manager for consumer products and marketing, Mariam Al-Khalid, said in a statement.
The first pair of Jordanian camel safety safari shoes are set to be launched on July 15.
Jordan will also begin selling camel safety bracelets and necklaces for $50.
The company has also launched the Camelot Camelot 2 camel safety headbands, which can be worn on the forehead, back and arms.
The price of the camel safety product has not yet been revealed, but Jordan said it will “offer a range of incentives and discounts” to make the shoe more attractive.
The Jordanian government announced in January it would introduce camel safety-specific products in the 2018 budget, including a camel safety bracelet and necklace, which were also made by the brand.
The government has also started offering camel safety accessories, such as sandals, for $2.50.
